It’s an intensive course of fully funded help and support to help people to launch their business

You’ve got a great new business idea, now what?

If you have the drive and ambition to set up a new business, but are not sure what to do next, they can help take you from entrepreneur to ‘enterprise ready’.

You could be one of 10 early-stage start-ups that can take part in a Thames Valley Berkshire Business Growth Hub 5-week Pre-Accelerator Programme.

The half-day workshops will cover all the essentials:

  • Establishing a business model
  • Finding finance
  • Developing sales and marketing plans
  • Producing forecasts
  • Launching a sustainable business

There are also be opportunities after each workshop to network and learn from others on the course.

The programme culminates in an exciting pitching event where, with their help, you will present your business idea to an invited audience of experts, investors and small business supporters.

Valuable, usable business support and advice, at no cost to you

The main criteria for applying for this programme is that you are interested in exploring the idea of starting a business.

To be eligible for this support you must be an individual aged 16 and over currently in employment, unemployed or economically inactive with an interest in exploring alternative career pathways.

You should not yet have started trading, or have registered with Companies House or HMRC before.
